He said the government should consider compensating various event promoters and organisers.

Over the weekend, NTV presenter Douglas Lwanga appeared  on different local television stations discussing the lockdown on music events.

He said the government should consider compensating various event promoters and organisers.

However, this didn't go well with a number of  his fans. They called him selfish for only caring about money than the people who support his events.

Many said he has no authority to ask government for compensation. Every Uganda is affected by Coronavirus pandemic.

"So even the people we support everyday are unbothered about humanity, Douglas Lwanga just expressed his selfishness when he asked for compensation from the government. Yet the blockage of his concert aimed at stopping the spread of this #Convid19," a one Bright allamuni tweeted.
