The body of a 15-year-old Pascal Kwesiga, a resident of Kyanungu village Kyangwali sub-county who disappeared from home on Saturday evening, has been found in a river in Kikuube District.

Kwesiga’s father Edward Mbabazi, says they have been searching for him and had reported a case of a missing person at Kyangwali Police Station.

According to John Tibenda the area LCI Chairperson, residents started searching for Kwesiga since Saturday but were shocked to discover his body dumped in River Nyabugoye which is located within the same village.

The body was found with deep cuts on the head and chest, an indication that the deceased could have been killed by unknown assailants before dumping his body in the river.

It was later conveyed to Kikuube Health center IV for postmortem.
